Mtanzania huyo alikamatwa majira ya saa saba usiku wa kuamkia 28/06/2016 baada ya kushukiwa na mmoja wa wafanyakazi wa kikosi cha ulinzi cha uwanja huo (CIF) wakati wa ukaguzi wa mizigo.
Msemaji wa CISF alisema abiria huyo aliyekuwa akiondoka nchini humo kwenda Dar es Salaam.
Baada ya kushtukiwa alirusha begi lake la mgongoni katika kifaa cha kubebea mizigo kilichokuwa kati ya lango namba nne na namba tatu. Alisema alikuwa akisafi na ndege yenye mruko namba QR-579 kwenda Dar es Salaam kupitia katika mji wa Doha ilikuwa imepangwa kuondoka sa 9:30 usiku kwenye uwanja huo akiwa na tiketi ya daraja la kwanza.
Kutokana na kurusha begi hilo mamlaka za uwanja huo wa ndege zililazimika kuita kikosi cha kutegua mabomu.

Tanzanian national was arrested Monday at India’s Indira Gandhi Airport with 10 kilograms of narcotics alleged was trying the smuggle. The drug is worth INR 10 lakh (Indian currency).
Accused Kitumba Risai Ahmad was nabbed at around 1 a.m. on suspicion ground during profiling of the passenger by Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) staff. He was being checked at the departure gate four of Terminal three of the IGI airport.
According to CISF spokesperson, the accused cleverly threw his backpack near to a pillar between gate 4 and 3 on a stranded trolley. He was to board fight number QR-579 to Tanzania’s Dar es Salam via Doha scheduled to leave at 3:30 a.m. He was on a business visa.
Following spotting the thrown bag the airport authorities called Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad. However, after checking in the X-ray BIS machine no dangerous or hazardous item inside the bag.
Meanwhile, the CISF staff checked CCTV footage of the area and managed tracing Ahmad at the immigration counter. He cleverly had put on pullover to avoid detection at the check-in counter.
Narcotics Control Bureau too was informed and found two packets of Pseudoephedrine in the backpack. He is being held for further legal action.
