When she walks down the aisle in the Chapel Royal of the Sveriges Kungahus tomorrow, Sophia Hellqvist, 30, will be taking the final steps towards a new life as Sweden's newest princess.
Watching from the pews will be her parents Erik and Marie, as well as crowned heads from all over Europe - including the UK's Earl and Countess of Wessex and Denmark's Queen Margrethe.
At the altar, Miss Hellqvist will be met by her fiancé, Sweden's Prince Carl-Philip, Duke of Värmland and her partner of almost five years - who today smiled proudly as he arrived with his bride-to-be for tonight's lavish pre-wedding party on the M/S Stockholm yacht.

And while Carl-Philip, 36, is no stranger to scandal, it is Miss Hellqvist's colourful past that proved the initial stumbling block.
Born in Täby, a small colourless town just outside of Stockholm, the future princess moved to Älvdalen, a remote settlement in central Sweden shortly after her sixth birthday.
Her childhood, shared with sisters Lina and Sara, was uneventful and happy, if a far cry from the infinitely more privileged upbringing enjoyed by her fiancé.
Clever and ambitious, Miss Hellqvist was encouraged to excel at school by her Danish father and Swedish mother and, when she decided aged 18 that she wanted to study in New York, went with their blessing.
