The green-capped eremomela

The green-capped eremomela is seen in western and southern Tanzania and is identified by the green cap, brown eye and the black line from the bill to the eye.

The left upper bird was photographed in Isunkaviola (Ruaha, 9-09). The right upper and 2nd row photos were taken at the Mara River (Serengeti, 3-07), courtesy of Paul Oliver. The 3rd row bird was seen west of Kahama (7-16), courtesy of Per Holmen. The 4th row photo, race citriniceps, was taken in Mikumi NP (1-16), also courtesy of Per Holmen; note the eye color variation and the bottom photo, Grumeti Reserve (7-18), courtesy Gary Douglas.
