St. John University Tanzania invites applications for suitably qualified and experienced Tanzanian to apply for the following  vacant positions available at the SJUC of Health Sciences Boko Dovya Dar es Salaam

TEACHING STAFF POSITION

PROFESSORS  5 POST
a)    Requirements  as associate professor plus publications which on assessment  produce 12 points
b)    Teaching research and public service  experience of not less than  3 years on training the qualifications of associate professor

ASSOCIATE  PROFESSORS 5 POST
a)    Requirements for  senior lecture plus publications which on assessment, produce 7 points
b)    Teaching research and public service  experience of not less than  3 years on training the qualifications of senior lecture

SENIOR LECTURES 10 POST
a)    Requirements for the lecture plus  publications  which  assessment  produce 5 points
b)    Teaching research and public service  experience of not less than  3 years on training the qualifications of lecture

LECTURERS 10 POST
a)    Requirements for  assistant lecture and PHD degree  with  a master degree at 4.0 GPA
b)    Where the PHD was  obtained on upgrading master’s degree then requirements as for tutorial assistant and PHD degree in the relevant subject
c)    Where the PHD was obtained on the  basis of the  master’s degree without a bachelor  degree then requirements as for assistant lecturers  and PHD degree  from a TCU recognized University
d)    Masters of medicine MMeD degree or its equivalent  in the relevant  subject  with a minimum of GPA of 4.0 from TCU recognized university

ASSISTANT LECTURERS10 POST
a)    Bachelor degree with a GPA of 3.5  or B+ average  and master’s degree in the relavant subjet with a GPA OF 4.0
b)    Where the master’s degree is the first degree then a master’s degree with a GPA  of 4.0 from TCU recognized university

TOTORIAL ASSISTANT7 POS
a)    Bachelor degree 1st upper second class with a minimum of GPA of 3.5  or B+  grade  in the relevant  subject for  unclassified degree or
b)    Doctor of medicine  degree with minimum of GPA OF 3.5 from TCU recognized University

NURSE TUTORS 8 POST
a)    Ordinary Diploma in Nursing with advanced Diploma  in nursing education from  a NACTE recognized institutions
b)    Bachelor of science in Nursing BSC Nursing with a minimum  GPA 3.0 from a TCU recognized University

PHARAMACY TUTORS 10 POST
-    Ordinary Diploma in Pharmaceutical science  or advanced diploma in pharmaceutical science from  NACTE recognized institutions
-    Bachelor of pharmaceutical with a minimum of GPA 3.0  a TCU recognized University

TECHNICAL STAFF POSITION

MEDICALLABORATORY TECHNICAL/HEALTH LABORATORY TECHNOLOGIST 4 POST
Qualifications
-    Diploma/advanced diploma/bachelor of science in medical laboratories or medical laboratory technologist degree from NACTE /TCU recognized institutions

SENIOR PROSPECTOR/PROSPECTOR 1 POST
QUALIFICATIONS
Diploma/advanced diploma in prospections from a TCU/NACTE recognized institutions

PHARMECEUTICAL ASSISTANTS/PHARMACEUTICAL 1 POST
Qualifications
-    Technician certificate  in pharmaceutical  science NTA level 5

ASSISTANT NURSING OFFICER 1 POST
Qualifications
Ordinary diploma in nursing NTA level 6

1.    Anatomy 1 post, biochemistry 1 post, pathology 1 post, pharmacology  3posts, parasitology and medical etiology 1 post, physiology 1 post community medicine 2 posts,  epidemiology and biostatistics and demography 5 posts, behaviors science 1 post and ICT 1 post
