First Grammy Nominations Revealed!

Pharrell Williams now has another reason to be "Happy." As revealed on Friday, Dec. 5, the N.E.R.D. singer is nominated for at least one Grammy for his second album, Girl -- and he's in good company. Also among the early nominees are Beyonce, Sam Smith, Miranda Lambert, Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, Iggy Azalea, and Ariana Grande.



Williams, 41, joined fellow hitmaker Ed Sheeran on CBS This Morning to unveil the first round of nominations for the 2015 music awards. The rest of the nominees will be revealed on Twitter throughout the day, leading up to the A Very Grammy Christmas special at 9 p.m., during which the Album of the Year nominees will be announced amid performances from Smith, Grande, and Big Sean.

In all, there are 83 categories at the Grammys this year. Those categories will be announced by the Grammys, and by various celebs (including Jared Leto and Ryan Seacrest!), via Twitter.
