Prince Harry Invited Orphan He Met 14 Years Ago To Wedding, Then Spots Him In Crowd In Heart-Melting

There have been so many wonderful stories that have emerged from the royal wedding that not many people are talking about. Prince Harry hand-picked the forget-me-knots in his bride’s bouquet as a tribute to his beloved mother. Following the wedding, all of the flowers were donated to Hospice patients.

It’s understandable that these moments aren’t grabbing the same attention in a way. The late Princess Diana’s youngest son married an American actress (former actress, we should say) and the guest list was star-studded, to say the least. Serena Williams, James Corden, David and Victoria Beckham, Oprah Winfrey, Idris Elba, the entire cast of Suits, Priyanka Chopra, George and Amal Clooney…we could go on for hours…all attended the wedding of the year. But there are a lot of heartwarming stories about the royal wedding guest list as well.
Among the special invitees was Amelia Thomson, a 12-year-old survivor of the Manchester bombing. But she isn’t the only one. 200 of the 600 wedding guests were representatives of charities that Prince Harry supports. Among them, a very special representative from Lesotho, Africa. In 2006, Prince Harry and Prince Seeiso of Lesotho set up a charity called Sentebale – which means “Forget Me Not.” The organization aims at bringing awareness and relief to the people of Lesotho which has a large population of orphans as a result of the AIDS epidemic.
Part of the reason that Prince Harry started the foundation is because of a boy he met there on a visit in 2004. The boy was four at the time and took to the Prince immediately. His name is Mutsu Potsane and he was often referred to as Prince Harry’s shadow because he never left his side. Any time the royal visited Lesotho, he always checked in on Mutsu and the two have exchanged letters. One letter may be the most special of all.
Mutsu attended the wedding as a guest of Prince Harry’s and representative of Sentebale. The story is making its rounds after video surfaced showing the moment Prince Harry spots Mutsu in the crowd.
Prince Harry is definitely one of the favorites among fans of the British Royal Family. He has an easiness about him and appears to be a humble and down-to-earth person. Until his wedding, however, people may not have realized just how much like his mother he truly is.
