Job Title: Accountant - 2 posts

Key Duties
• To prepare Bank Reconciliation and follow up the balance of Bank Accounts.
• To maintaining schedule of deductions, Returns of loans and interests.
• To prepare the statistical data and submit to the District cooperative Officer.
• To control the petty cash.
• To prepare credit transfers to members Accounts for loans.


Minimum Requirements
• First Degree or Advanced Diploma in Accountancy from recognized institution of higher education.
• At least two years working experiences as an accountant.
• Registered with NBAA.
• Good communication skills (fluent in English and Kiswahili both oral and written) and a keen attention to details.
• Computer literacy-Ms Word, Ms Excel, Ms Access & Internet.

Job Title: Loan Officer CUM Chief Cashier – 1 post
Key Duties
• Implement credit policies and procedures pertaining to granting of credit.
• Monitor cash balance in teller GL in system to determine cash held is within authorized cash holding limits.
• Ensure prompt response to members inquiries pertaining to credit and proper communication thereon.
• Formulate, implement and review preventive, detective and corrective internal controls pertaining to the credit function.
• Periodical loans Recondition report.
• Meet with applicants to obtain information for loan applications and to answer questions about the process.

Minimum Requirements
• First degree or advanced diploma in accountancy from recognized institution of higher education.
• At least two years working experiences as an loan officer/accountant/chief cashier.
• Good communication skills (fluent in English and Kiswahili both oral and written) and a keen attention to details.
• Computer literacy Ms World, Ms Excel, Ms Access and Internet.
• Working experience in Banking Environment will be an added advantage.
