It will probably go down as one of those ‘what’s he thinking’ moments and people will for sure share some laughs about it.
Dominic Adesanya, a Maryland-based Nigerian student who is considered to be mentally unstable, would probably be in too much trouble to spare a laugh.
The 23 year-old who reportedly attended Stevenson University and Hartford Community College jumped across the White House fence and was 20 metres into the North Lawn before he was stopped by K-9 dogs.
The incident happened yesterday evening and though Adesanya was not armed at that time, he was taken into police custody and is now in hospital receiving treatment for the injuries he sustained when the dogs attacked him.
CNN quoted Adesanya’s father, who said his son has been arrested in the White House before and his family had tried to get him help.
“He had done it before. … He didn’t get that close, he didn’t cross the fence. He was at the gate, fussing at the people, wanting to talk to the President to tell the President about his situation,” Adesanya’s father said.
Adesanya’s jump follows a string of other similar occurrences at the White House.
