Caitlyn Jenner Involved In Second Lawsuit After February Car Wreck
Caitlyn Jenner may be happier than ever, but she still has some not-so-happy stuff to deal with. After she was involved in a car wreck in February that left one woman dead, Caitlyn is still wrapped up in litigation, and this week, a second lawsuit was filed.
So what’s going on? One of the drivers involved in the accident — a talent manager named Jessica Marie Steindorff, filed a personal injury suit against Caitlyn, According to CNN, Jessica is claiming that she “negligently, carelessly, recklessly, and wantonly” operated her car and caused her injuries.
An interesting fact about this lawsuit: It names Caitlyn as “Bruce Jenner, AKA Caitlyn Jenner,” so clearly this is a super recent thing. At this time, neither Caitlyn’s rep nor Jessica’s rep has chosen to comment, so we’ll have to wait to find out what happens next.
Initially, Caitlyn was being sued for wrongful death by the adult stepchildren of Kim Howe, the 69-year-old woman who was killed in the accident. As far as we know, that suit is still pending.
The car accident was obviously a terrifying and tragic situation, and dealing with the aftermath is a terrible thing for anyone to go through — especially for someone who has as much on her plate as Caitlyn does. Hopefully this can come to a resolution soon, and everyone who was involved in the crash can finally begin to heal.
