JAY Z TO PERFORM IN SEVEN COUNTRIES IN AFRICA, STARTING IN DAR ES SALAAM TANZANIA

Hip Hop’s Legend, Jay Z announced his world tour yesterday which includes seven stops in Africa, according to Billboard.
Jay-Z has nailed down details for a seven-week world tour to spread awareness of the world’s water crisis with the tour kicking off on September 9th in Poland and will make stops in Accra, Lagos, Cape Town and Dar Es Salaam, among other African cities but not Zambia on the list.
It will be chronicled via the MTV documentary “Diary of Jay-Z: Water for Life,” which will premiere Nov. 24 on the network.
“In the beginning, when I was going out on a world tour, I was going out to play music,” the Def Jam president said earlier this month. “But I said to myself, I can’t go to these places I’ve been and not go out and see the people that have been touched by my music for over 10 years. From that morphed, ‘Well, I’m not just going to go over there and rap to them.’ I’m going to help and see what I can do in these areas.”
Here’s a look at Jay-Z African stops on his world tour:
